Ubisoft has announced that its upcoming free-to-play tactical first-person shooter action game Rainbow Six Mobile will finally be launching worldwide on February 23 on both iOS and Android devices.
Initially revealed three years ago, the developers have announced to the world that they will be bringing the thrilling action gameplay of Rainbow Six Siege to mobile devices. The game then had its closed alpha test, which allowed players to get a first look at Rainbow Six Mobile.
After that, the developers had the game undergo further tests. Through the closed beta tests 1 and 2, more players from different regions are able to experience R6M. During these tests, major features, improved stability, and fine-tuned gameplay were introduced, following the players’ feedback from the previous tests.
Ensuring that the game was ready before launching globally, the game was first soft-launched in select regions, including Poland, France, Canada, and Latin America. The developers then revamped their systems, enhanced performance, and introduced new content.
Now, as the game is confirmed for a global release, players from anywhere in the world will be able to experience the much-awaited Rainbow Six Mobile, which will feature three modes for 5v5 PvP matches: Bomb, Bomb Rush, and Team Deathmatch.
The game will also feature maps inspired by Rainbow Six Siege, which are Bank, Border, Clubhouse, Oregon, and Villa, along with two mobile-exclusive maps, Restaurant and Summit. There’ll be more than 20 Operators that players can choose from, including Ash, Mute, and Dokkaebi.

Additionally, in celebration of the game’s upcoming global launch, the developers have also released Rainbow Six Mobile’s pre-registration campaign. It features exclusive rewards that players can get once the game has finally been released. Each reward can be acquired once the number of pre-registrations has been reached.
